Life is at its best when we are surrounded by family, friends and acquaintances. What could be better than to include, in that embrace, loved ones who have gone before and who will come after us.
With this in mind, Bethany has reserved a special place within its courtyard to memorialize our loved ones. Bethany Memorial Garden is a place of beauty, a quiet place of rest for all the saints, enfolded in the daily presence of the living and loving family of God.
As we come to Bethany for worship, fellowship, baptism, confirmation and marriage, so this spot will hold special meaning as we celebrate together the completion of this life.
With the Sanctuary nearby on the east and the stream of congregational events flowing in walkways around the courtyard each day, the remembrance is alive and perpetual. Bethany shares its hilltop view of the mountains with those who come to visit the courtyard and its garden. Here is a resting place that’s more than a place of beauty. It is a place of life in the surrounds of a people of constant care.
