Presentation of Bibles to 2nd Grade Students
The Bible is the living word of the living God. Bethany has a long-standing tradition of giving each second grade Sunday school student a gift of the Holy Bible. At baptism, you promised “to place in their hands the Holy Scriptures and to nurture them in faith and prayer.” We present a Bible to your child to help you honor this promise. The congregation partners with you to provide the tools you need to help your child read, study, and meet God.
We will mark this faith milestone by presenting your child with a Bible during the 10:30 a.m. worship on Sunday, November 21, 2010. This special worship service is followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall with a continental breakfast buffet.
It is essential for families to sign up in advance to reserve your Bible and pew space. Registration Deadline is November 14. Registration forms are available at the Hospitality Center or contact Joni Grundman 303-300-3304 or joni@bethany-denver.org
