Bethany Lutheran Church

Read through the Bible in 90 Days beginning September 26, 2010.  You’ll read 12 pages each day and have a group to help motivate you and keep you going.  Each group (10-15 people) will meet once a week for 14 sessions, in homes or at Bethany.

If you already have a small group of friends or family to meet with, sign up together. You can also sign up by zip code and we’ll match you with people in your geographic area.  It’s a great goal to set for yourself and we believe that God will meet you in your reading and conversation.  No tests! You don’t need to know the Bible already.  Just start reading!

Join us in ancient Egypt, where you’ll get to explore the culture of Joseph’s world.  You’ll meet Joseph and experience his ups and downs alongside him.  God’s Word comes alive as families explore Egyptian customs, occupations, food, and music.  Kids and adults will gain an understanding and appreciation for what it was like to be a God-follower in a culture that worshiped many gods, and you’ll be challenged to look for evidence of God in your everyday life.

We invite parents to come once a month for a Bible Study and discussion around issues facing families today.  Bible Teacher and Parenting Coach Michelle Okes will answer questions and facilitate discussion to strengthen and equip you to be Faith Formers in the home.

Enjoy fellowship with other parents, dig into the same Bible stories that your kids are learning, learn to lead faith talks at home with your child, and get ideas for family activities to apply the learning to life.

This class is open to parents of kids of all ages – no experience required!

 For other opportunities to learn and fellowship during the week, Bethany also offers small group Bible study classes, including Journey through the Bible and Women’s Bible Studies. 

God’s Word for the Week
Weekly study of Sunday’s scripture text with one of the Pastors. Mondays at 9:00 AM, Tuesdays at 7:00 AM.

Journey Through the Bible
A variety of short-term Biblical studies in a small group setting. Join us on Mondays at 7:00 AM.

Joy of Living – Women’s Bible Study
