Adult Faith Formation

The gifts he gave were…to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-13)

Adult Faith Formation is about equipping faithful adults through worship, learning, service, prayer, community and life experiences in order to live out their baptismal calling. Therefore, Adult Faith Formation encompasses the entirety of Bethany’s ministry, in each aspect of our ministry there is an opportunity for adults to live out their baptismal calling. On this page you will find links to each of these types of ministry so that you might explore how your gifts can best be used in service to God.

The foundation for adults faith formation starts with three building blocks: the Bible, being Lutheran, and discerning one’s spiritual gifts we encourage all Bethany members to participate in all three of these experiences as a way to understand the basics of the faith and to continue on your baptismal journey of being a faith former.

Come join us for any of our Adult Learning programs, designed to equip, empower and unleash you to live out your baptismal calling!
